The Holdin' Ground Project - a series of videotaped interviews with seniors by students from Ascension Collegiate.
Those interviewed include: Eric Dawe, of Avalon Coal, Salt, & Oil, and former MHA and cabinet minister; Wilbur Sparkers, former long time Mayor of Bay Roberts, Edmund Dawson, Investors Group, of the Bay Roberts Cultural Foundation; Cecil Greenland, and Ralph Greenland from Coley's Point, and many other well known citizens. Excepts from the videos will be shown and representative teachers, students, and seniors will be present. The project helped to preserve the heritage of communities in the Bay Roberts area.

The Pigeon Inlet Quilt, a magnificent work which was designed and created by the "Pigeon Inlet Quilters," will be on display.The Quiters studied Ted Russell's works and spent 18 months working on the pieces, the layout and the borders.
Each piece of the 80" by 70" quilt is based on Ted Russell's stories. The Kyle, Smokeroom on the Kyle, Algebra Slippers, King David, and many other features of Tales from Pigeon Inlet are represented. The centre piece, which was designed and quilted by Elieen Newman, is a window overlooking Pigeon Inlet Harbour. .
